For example, backing up your photos to Google Drive isnt seamless, nor is but there is a way. Lets see how to upload all photos from iPhone to Google Drive.
Whether you call it Apples restrictive policies or Googles inaction at implementing a seamless method of uploading photos to the Drive, its inconvenient for us, the user. I found 4 ways to alleviate this problem.
Save Any Picture From The Web To Your Iphone Or Ipad
Whether you’re looking for a good iPhone wallpaper or want to share a gif you found online, there are lots of great reasons to save images to your iPhone or iPad.
Doing so is easy, but I’m still amazed how many people don’t actually know how to go about it . So, in case you’re lost: Here’s a quick tutorial on saving images to your device even the ones that won’t let you save them through normal means.
To save an image sent to you in Mail or Safari, it’s as easy as tapping and holding on the image in question.
When the share sheet pops up, just tap the Save Image button to send the photo to your Camera Roll.
In other apps, like Tweetbot, you may have to first tap the picture to enlarge it fullscreen, then tap and hold to save.
Finally, there are some sites on Safari that don’t allow picture saving, due to copyright reasons or the way the website is built. If it’s for copyright purposes such as a pro photographer who wants to be paid for high-resolution versions of their images I’d ask that you please respect the owner of those pictures and purchase anything you legitimately want to download.
If you need a low-resolution version, however, or the image you need isn’t downloadable, you can take a screenshot of it by pressing the Home button and On/Off button at the same time, then opening the screenshot in the Photos app and cropping accordingly.

iOS has always been a bit different from Android whether it be the file management system, user privacy features, control, and access over your device, or the RAM management. Despite these differences, you would think basic functions like copy paste and uploading photos is the same on both platforms but that isnt usually the case.
However, these differences have been diminished in recent times with the release of Android 11 and iOS 14 respectively. Upload Photos On A Website
Most websites will have a dedicated button called Upload, Add Images, or something on the same lines. You can easily upload photos to such websites as long as you can generate an upload request by tapping on the dedicated link. However, you wont be able to upload on websites that only have drag and drop support. For this example, lets take a look at how you can upload photos and videos to Ezgif directly from Safari.
Start by visiting the site that you wish to upload your photos to and find and tap on the Upload link. In our case when using Ezgif, this option is called Choose Files. Depending on the website, the name can change but the functionality remains the same.
You will now be given the option to choose the source of your upload. Select the one that best fits your needs from the options below.
- Take Photo or Video: This option will let you use the camera and click and upload photos to the website in real-time.
- Browse: This option will take you to the Files app where you can choose a photo from the local storage or the iCloud library on your device.
You will now be taken to the respective app depending on your choice above. In our case, it is the Photos app. Now simply select the image that you wish to upload to the platform. You can tap and hold on an image to select multiple choices as well.
Once selected, tap on Add in the top right corner of your screen.
And thats it! Your selected photos should now be uploaded to the website without any issues.

Even if Google doesnt allow you to backup your photos from iPhone to Google Drive, there is Photosync. Its was developed to ease the process of transferring files and photos from the device to multiple locations such as NAS, PC, and Cloud storage.
1: Start by installing Photosync from the App Store. Open the app and tap the Settings button on the bottom right. Tap the Configure button to open the list of destinations.
2: Select Google Drive from the list of targets and sign in with your Google account. You can configure exactly where and how the images and videos should be backed up. You can set a destination, define upload quality, create sub-directories, etc.
If you wish to upload in higher or original quality, you would need to unlock that feature by buying the subscription at $0.99/mon. Tap Done to save the changes.
3: To back up the photos, go back to the album section in Photosync and tap the sync button on the top right corner.
4: Select all the pictures by tapping the All button and choose a destination. I chose Google Drive to upload iPhone photos.
5: Simply select the upload quality and tap OK. Your Google Drive backup should initiate.
Iphone: Transfer Pictures And Videos From Iphone To Xp
iTunes seems to be the ultimate portal for transferring information to sync information to and from the iPhone. This is true for everything except for getting videos and photos off of your iPhone and into your computer. Here is a tutorial showing how to download the pictures and videos onto your XP system. Updated as this is the best method for videos as well.
I looked and looked through iTunes to figure out how to transfer my pictures and videos from my iPhone. I was looking in the wrong place. Using this method you can easily import pictures and videos from your iPhone to your computer.
XP will treat the iPhone like a digital camera device. Therefore, any computer program that will sync to and from digital cameras to a windows box can be used to move the pics and vids over.

How Do I Pin A Picture On My Iphone Home Screen
If you want to add a picture to your iPhone home screen, you can do so with several methods. For example, you can use multiple photos widgets by stacking them. Once youve added several photos to your home screen, you can move them around to make room for new ones. Alternatively, you can use the iPhones built-in widget system. The following instructions will help you set up a photo widget on your iPhone.
First of all, lets take a look at how widgets work. iPhones have two types of widgets: the Lock screen and the Home screen. Both display photos from your photo library. First, connect your computer and iPhone using the USB cable. When you connect the devices for the first time, you will get a pop-up on your iPhone.
Go ahead and tap Trust to allow your computer to access your iPhone. Only then, you will be able to import photos from your iPhone.
Next, launch Photos app on your computer by clicking the Start menu and entering the word photos in the search box.
In the Photos app, click the Import icon located on the top right of the screen.
Here, you will see two options: From a folder, From a connected device. Go ahead and click the option From a connected device.
If you had already connected your iPhone and computer using a USB cable, you will see a message Looking for new photos and videos.
After a few seconds or so, you will see a new screen titled Import items where you can see the thumbnail preview of all images stored on your iPhone.
By default, the photos will be imported to the Pictures folder in OneDrive. If you want to choose a different location on your computer, then click the link Change destination and select your desired folder.
To import all the photos from your iPhone, click the Select drop-down box and select the value All Items.

If youve downloaded images or videos to your Files app on your iPhone or iPad, you might be wondering if you can copy them to your Photos library. The answer is yes, and well show you how to do it.
First, open the Files app and navigate to the folder that contains the media files that youd like to move to Photos. In our example, were using the Downloads folder, but the files could just as easily be copied from other folders in Files, such as Dropbox or your iCloud Drive.
Once you locate the media file or files, you have a couple of different options.
If its a single photo or video, tap on it to open up its detailed view.
If you want to select multiple files on an iPhone, tap the ellipsis button in the upper-right corner of the screen and choose Select. Then, place check marks on the items you want to copy to Photos.
On the Share list that pops up, tap Save Image or Save Video. If you selected multiple items, tap Save X Items, where X is the number of items youve selected.
How To Transfer Photos From A Mac To An Iphone
If you’ve got a Mac full of photos that you want to transfer to your iPhone, it’s a pretty simple thing to do. Just follow these steps:
These instructions apply to Macs running macOS Catalina and up. If you’re using an earlier version, the basic steps are the same but use iTunes to sync your photos instead of the Finder.

When you’ve chosen your settings, click Apply to save your settings and transfer photos from your Mac to your iPhone.
If the photos don’t start to transfer automatically, click the Sync button at the bottom right to start the transfer.
