Each file and document, and the programs used to open them, are different. Therefore, we are only able to give a basic overview of the steps in printing. These steps are a general guideline and may not apply to the document or file you are trying to print. That being said, many programs have adopted a standard method of printing.

The Excel Spreadsheet Way
In 2013, I Googled How to print a large image onto multiple pages and discovered the excel method. Ive been using this method ever since. If you own a copy of Excel, give it a try. I like the ability to adjust the image size and number of sheets by simply dragging the image corner. If you dont have Excel, Google Sheets should work.
How To Stop People From Pinning Your Content
- Ask them not to. Just include a politely-worded message on your site asking people to refrain from pinning your content and sharing it on other sites. If this doesn’t work, you can send a cease and desist letter.
- There is coding that can be placed on sites to keep people from pinning it. National Geographic’s website has this coding. If someone tries to pin from a site with the code, a message pops up saying that pinning isn’t allowed from that domain. It is simple and easy to use.
- You can make a members only section of your site. A lot of event photographers do this. Clients can log in to see the pictures from their event.
- Add watermarks to your pictures. Create a business logo or just embed your web address from the photo. If your picture is posted somewhere else on the web, at least you will be properly credited.
- If you don’t want to share it with the world, then don’t put it up on the internet. There is no way to 100% guarantee that your works won’t get copied somewhere else on the internet. If that is a problem for you, find a different medium to display your work.
It’s not the traditional model for business, so everyone is clinging to their content in a panic.
Obviously there is a line and some people do cross it. I’ve had my articles copied word for word on other sites before and had to report it. That’s wrong. If someone is taking your photo and selling it in a calendar, that’s wrong.

Printing A Facebook Picture Through A Kiosk
The Kodak Picture Kiosk now offers a service to print your pictures on Facebook. Some retailers have this kiosk available for customer use, so you can print pictures in high quality. This service costs money to use.
There is also a CVS Express Photo app available for use on Facebook. This app allows you to select pictures to print and pick up at your local CVS Pharmacy.
If you save the pictures to your computer, they can be moved to a CD-R or a USB flash drive, then transferred to any kiosk or online picture service.
I Cannot Print Because Other Print Jobs Are Waiting To Print
If the printer is not turned on, online, or ready, all print jobs are sent to a print queue and wait until the printer is ready. Once the printer is ready, all available jobs should resume. If the jobs do not resume, either the printer is not ready, or there is another problem. You can test for a problem by either restarting the print job canceling all other print jobs and then trying again.
If you are trying to print to a network printer, you cannot print unless the printer is online. If the printer is turned off, not connected to the network, or there is another network related issue, the printer is shown as offline.

Precautions To Take Before You Pin
- Fair use can be a bit sketchy, and no one seems to agree about what is allowed and what isn’t. This includes book covers, movie posters, and pictures of celebrities. You are probably better off if you avoid sharing those types of images.
- If there are no “Pin it” buttons, and especially if there are no other social media sharing buttons, then assume you don’t have the owner’s permission to pin it.
- If it is something you really want to pin and aren’t sure about, then ask for permission. The worst that could happen is that you get a no.
How To Pin Without Violating Copyrights
Typically, a violation is handled by the content owner asking that the content be removed. In this case, a pin that is a copyright violation would just be deletedend of story . Repeat offenders could have their accounts deleted.

Save Picture To The Computer Then Open And Print
Right-click the picture you want to save and choose Save image as or Save picture as and then choose where you want to save the file and the files name. You may have to click the picture to open a larger view of that picture, then right-click the picture to save it.

Click the picture and view it in the Facebook Photo Viewer. If clicking the picture opens another one, go back in the browser and look for a double arrow in the top-right corner.
Once viewing the picture, in the bottom-right corner, click Options and then click the link to save the picture to your computer.

Every time I googled all I could find was how to extract a Pinterest board to a PDF and then print the PDF. When I would print one of those the images, the text was overlapping and it didnt look that great. All I really needed was just the images so I had to figure out a different way.
Equipment needed:
2018 edit: You cannot save as using Google Chrome anymore and get the website information, you must use Mozilla Firefox
Open the board you wish to have the images printed from.
This is the board I used:
Right-click anywhere on the page that is blank. The key here is to save the whole web page, not just one image. The white space by the board title and description is a good place.
Find the folder you just created and open it.
These will be the images of the pins hold ctrl and left click on the images you want to print
Right-click on one of the photos then select print.
Select a layout of how many pictures of the pins you want to display on each page
Press print and you now have a hard copy of only the images.
