How To Auto Post On Instagram Using Socinator

To schedule a post using Later you will need at least 1 post which is ready to be uploaded.

Lets start:

On the left hand side of the Later Dashboard, you will want to drag in your posts to the media manager pannel.

You can see below I’ve done this for one image and also switched the Calendar view to Month on the right hand side .

After you’ve uplaoded your posts, you will want to drag your image or video from the Media Manager Panel to the day you want to upload on.

For example, I’ll drag my image to be uploaded on the 29th of January.

Once you do this:

An interface will appear where you can choose your:

  • Caption â tell people about whats happening in the photo or offer value.
  • Hashtags â Include hashtags in your niche for people to discover you.
  • Tag Users â Make sure to tag yourself as well as anyone else relevent to your image as it’s another way people can discover you.
  • Location â Tag the location you took this photo, even if its broad! It is another way for people to discover your account and increase your reach.
  • Upload time â Choose your best upload time using your Instagram Insights which we discussed early.
  • Upload type â You can choose to automatically upload your Instagram post or recieve a notificaiton on your phone where you manually post it.

You’ve now successfully scheduled a post which will be automatically uploaded to Instagram.

You can always check which of your posts in the calendar will post automatically by seeing which of them have the little lightning bolt icon next to the thumbnail. If your post appears like this, it’s good to go!

*Images must follow these specifications:

Maximum file size: 8MB

Must be within a 4:5 to 1.91:1 aspect ratio range

Minimum resolution: 150×150

Maximum resolution: 1920×1080

Color space: Instagram supports the sRGB color space. Images that use other color spaces will have their color space converted to sRGB.

    How To Schedule Post To Instagram With Auto Publishing

    1. Log into Flowbox and go to ‘Publish’ in the main menu.

    2. In the left-hand menu, click on ‘Schedule’ or ‘Content’.

    3. Click on the blue ‘Create Post’ button.

    4. In the modal box, choose the Instagram account that you’d like to publish your post to. NOTE: You can only select one account and it must be an Instagram business account.

    5. Select the post type ‘Single Image or Video Auto Publish’ and click on the blue ‘Next’ button in the lower right-hand corner.

    You may need to enable Auto Publishing to Instagram in order to use this feature. If you see a box like this one pop up, then click on ‘Configure’ and you will be taken through to Facebook Business Manager to verify the account.

    6. Tab: ‘Content’

    • Start by clicking on ‘Add media’ to select what content from the Library you would like to publish. The media-file is limited to single photo or video and has to meet validation requirements.

    • Continue by adding your preferred caption to the ‘Caption’ field, your first comment to ‘First Comment’ field and notes to ‘Notes’ field. You may also add your preferred location by searching for one in the ‘Location’ field.

    • When you’re done, click on the blue ‘Next’ button.

    7. Tab: ‘Schedule’

    • Select publish date and time in the date and time picker.
