If you havent already, you first need to create a Shopify store and add some products to it.
Then, to connect your Shopify store with your Facebook page, click the plus icon next to Sales Channel in the left-hand sidebar within the Shopify dashboard.
Once your accounts are connected, you need to add your product catalog to Facebook.
To do this, head to the product manager in the Shopify dashboard, select your products, click Make Products Available in the dropdown menu, and select Facebook.

After youve manually created your Facebook catalog, you need to connect that catalog to your Facebook shop. To do this, go back into your catalog in Business Manager.

Give it about 515 minutes for your catalog to start displaying on the Facebook Shop tab on your business page. If you arent sure you did this step correctly, you can check your work by clicking the Shop tab on your business page. There you should see all of the products displayed from your catalog.

Add Shoppable Tags On Instagram Posts
Once youve been approved by Instagram, navigate back to the Shopping tab under settings and add your catalog. Since the catalog or shop should already be set up on Facebook, its easy to add it to Instagram. Click the catalog you want to connect and press Done.
With your catalog added in, its easy to tag posts with shoppable tags. When creating the post, Tag Products will appear right below Tag People on the same page where you add your caption. Tap Tag Products, search for the product name featured in the image, and drag it to the correct location just like you would to tag a friend.
Keep in mind that you can only tag products on images, not videos, GIFs, or Boomerangs. You can add up to 5 product tags per single image, or 20 product tags in a post with several images.
Go back to old posts and tap the three dots in the right corner and Edit to tag products.
Add Your Product Catalog
When creating your online shop, youll need to have a catalog with product descriptions. There are two ways to add a product catalog to your account. You can either use the Commerce Manager tool found within Facebook Business Manager or use an e-commerce platform manager, such as Shopify or Big Commerce. Once youve created your product catalog, submit your account for review. After your account has been approved, turn on the shopping feature so customers can start shopping from your Instagram posts.

Sell Products Via Instagram
Instagram Cataloging is the process of adding your shop and products directly to your Instagram page. This way, you can market your products on Instagram and sell them to your consumers directly. You can simply click on this link to create your Facebook Page, or you can open Pages and click on Create a Page. Then, add more details and click Save to start your page. Go ahead and fill in all the details you need that fit your Insta pages.
Remember to set the Category for your page as Product or Product/service or Shopping and Retail and click Create Page.
Build and set up your Shop Catalog
Once you have your Page set up, you need to build a Shop Catalog for your Page. So, open your and click Get Started.
Next, press Create a Catalogue and click Get Started. Now, youll see the New catalog page.
Go ahead and choose your Catalogue type as E-Commerce and press Next. Now, you need to set up your E-Commerce platform for your Catalogue.
Then, select Connect E-Commerce platform as your upload method and choose WooCommerce as the eCommerce platform option. Next, you can choose the Catalogue owner. Either set it up as Personal or set up your business account so you can customize your page and catalog as you wish. We recommend you start with the Personal option if you can. However, since we have our business account and catalogs set up, well use our Business account. After that, click Finish Setup.
Once you finish all the instruction pages, click Go to Catalog Manager.
Change Your Instagram Post Captions
To set up Instagram shopping on your website, you need to change your Instagram post caption.
Inside the caption area, enter the link or the full URL of the page you want your Instagram post to link to.
If you want to edit your , just go to the existing posts youd like to edit, and tap the 3 dots on the upper right hand corner. A menu will appear, so tap on Edit.
Delete your original caption and replace it with the full URL of the page you want your post to link to.
For example, when someone clicks on this post on your embedded Instagram feed, theyll be directed to the URL you put in the posts caption.
On this page, they can see the pricing and product information so its easier for them to buy from you.
