This is a new metric that brings great value to the analysis. The Tweet Binder team has developed an algorithm that takes into consideration different data. First of all, we calculate the value of each one of the users who have participated in the hashtag. We consider his/her followers, follows lists, account verification Then we calculate the value of a tweet sent by each user depending on the type of tweet. Finally, we add up all those values.

Does Twitter Pay You For Viral Tweets

Twitter doesn’t pay anybody for their tweets, no matter how successful or viral they are. Unlike YouTube, Twitter doesn’t share its advertising earnings with Its users. That doesn’t mean you can’t make money on Twitter, however. It just means that brands have to discover the successful Twitter account holders and make private deals with them, sponsoring future posts. So, if somebody’s tweet goes viral, it is likely that a brand will approach them, offering a sponsored post deal on their future tweets.

The Most Popular Content On Twitter With The Highest Engagement

Twitter supports various forms of media, including images, text, GIFs, and video. By looking at video marketing statistics, it would be safe to claim that videos will soon take over online content marketing.

Video views on Twitter increased 62% from 2019 to 2020, with a 72% year-over-year increase in watch time . This shows how consumers have become more interested in video content on the platform.

Suspect And Contested Accounts

In January 2016, Twitter was sued by the widow of a U.S. man killed in the 2015 Amman shooting attack, claiming that allowing the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant to continually use the platform, including direct messages in particular, constituted the provision of material support to a terrorist organization, which is illegal under U.S. federal law. Twitter disputed the claim, stating that “violent threats and the promotion of terrorism deserve no place on Twitter and, like other social networks, our rules make that clear.” The lawsuit was dismissed by the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, upholding the Section 230 safe harbor, which dictates that the operators of an interactive computer service are not liable for the content published by its users. The lawsuit was revised in August 2016, providing comparisons to other telecommunications devices.

On May 10, 2019, Twitter announced that they suspended 166,513 accounts for promoting terrorism in the JulyDecember 2018 period, stating there was a steady decrease in terrorist groups trying to use the platform owing to its “zero-tolerance policy enforcement”. According to Vijaya Gadde, Legal, Policy and Trust and Safety Lead at Twitter, there was a reduction of 19% terror related tweets from the previous reporting period .

Twitter Counter And Twitter Trends Count Basic Report With Tweet Binder

The first report Tweet Binder offers, known as the basic report contains the main metrics of the hashtag. You can access the infographic report if you are PRO in Tweet Binder, if not you will go directly to the advanced report which also is a perfect twitter trends count method. This report contains a much deeper display of the stats where you will find more metrics besides the number of tweets.

In addition, you will find the total amount of text tweets, retweets, replies and links and pics. We can use it as a twitter trends count. Moreover, our basic report also includes the number of users and impressions. But if you are just asking yourself how many tweets do i have? go to Tweet Binder and start counting. Know that if your account is old enough, youd need a Twitter historical report. If you are analyzing popular hashtags like the ones related with Bitcoin and Twitter, youd need a report and many tweets, this happens when counting Twitter trends.

To know how many times a hashtag has been used is very useful when running campaigns, events and more because it will give us a big number to compare with other similar events or campaigns, however we always say that the number of tweets is not the most important metric in Twitter. You have to see the number of impressions, the reach, the rankings and so. You can use Tweet Binder for free to see the big amount of information you can get out of a hashtag or a term, not only the number of tweets.

How Many Users Does Twitter Have Today

April 6, 2011 by Aaron

There isnt any official number of how many users there are on Twitter, but I think I have managed to find the answer. Still, I could be wrong, but then again I could be right. However I feel that its fairly accurate . Nicholas Carlson wrote an interesting post on how many users are active on Twitter, where he explained the amount of people who are active on Twitter, people who arent following anyone etc, but I wanted to know how many Twitter users are registered today.

Twitter is not like Facebook, where we are able to get data from socialbakers to find out the amount of or the amount of Facebook ads.Twitter doesnt give out much data except that there are 175 million users on Twitter which was updated on October 2010, which is clearly a million years old ago and is outdated in technology age, just like the one on .

AWS dominates cloud market share in the U.S., but its cloud business is much smaller in the China market. There, AWS is usually lumped into the others category amid the biggest players: Chinese tech giants Alibaba, Huawei, Tencent and Baidu.

As AWS grows its AI talent in China, the company has also expanded its cloud capabilities there, a necessary component for much of todays data and compute-heavy AI projects. The company added a third cloud region where it provides cloud services in the country in June, with separate data center facilities offering redundant power, networking and connectivity to customers in China.

In China, localization is mandatory. Rather than providing services to customers directly, AWS is legally required by China to provide its services through China-based partners. The company partners with operator and service providers Beijing Sinnet Technology and Ningxia Western Cloud Data Technology in order to meet local government ownership, regulatory licensing and cybersecurity requirements.

Building a cloud and adjacent AI business in China requires that local data be accessible on local servers, said Tracy Tsai, a research vice president for technology product management at Gartner Research. Localization with local data and custom models for local application, use cases and ecosystem are essential for AI models if AWS wants to grow its cloud business in China, especially for local Chinese customers, she said.

Twitter Revenue And Usage Statistics

Twitter is a real-time microblogging platform, publicly launched in July 2006. At launch, its defining features were the tight limits placed on each post, known at a tweet. Originally, users could only use 140 characters, although that was doubled to 280 in 2017.

Formed by former Odeo employees Jack Dorsey, Noah Glass, Evan Williams and Biz Stone, the site originally used SMS to send tweets onto the network. It received its first boost of users at SXSW 2007, when the founders showed all the tweets hitting the network in real-time.

From there, Twitter grew out its userbase to reach over 300 million monthly active users. It added new features, but for the most part has retained the same look and feel of early Twitter, much to the chagrin of shareholders who have wanted Twitter to be more competitive with Facebook.

Twitter has branched out into other areas of innovation, such as short-video with Vine or live-video with Periscope, but both were cancelled by Twitter. Some have argued that Twitter mismanaged both projects, as Vine came well before Music.ly and TikTok, but was unable to capture the market which was clearly there.

This may be partly due to the management of Twitter, which has had Jack Dorsey, Evan Williams, Dick Costolo and then Jack Dorsey again as CEO. Dorsey is also CEO at Square, which has led to complaints from shareholders and even a lawsuit.

We have collected data and statistics on Twitter. Read on below to find out more.

Culture Change And Conflict At Twitter

Two years ago, the company brought in a blunt executive to make things move faster and to promote diversity. Then the problems began.

By Kate Conger

SAN FRANCISCO Soon after joining Twitter in 2019, Dantley Davis gathered his staff in a conference room at the companys San Francisco headquarters. Twitter was too nice, he told the group, and he was there to change it.

Mr. Davis, the companys new vice president of design, asked employees to go around the room, complimenting and critiquing one another. Tough criticism would help Twitter improve, he said. The barbs soon flew. Several attendees cried during the two-hour meeting, said three people who were there.

Mr. Davis, 43, has played a key role in a behind-the-scenes effort over the past two years to remake Twitters culture. The company had long been slow to build products, and under pressure from investors and users, executives landed on a diagnosis: Twitters collaborative environment had calcified, making workers reluctant to criticize one another. Mr. Davis, the company believed, was one of the answers to that problem.

The turmoil that followed revealed the trade-offs and conflicts that arise when companies attempt dramatic cultural shifts and put the onus on hard-nosed managers to make that change happen.

This is actually a Twitter culture change that weve been trying to drive, Jennifer Christie, Twitters head of human resources, said in an interview.

Mike Isaac contributed reporting.

So What Does The Future Of Work Look Like

Prithwiraj Choudhury, a professor at the Harvard Business School and remote work expert, highlighted the key benefits of working away from the office, in an interview with Insider.

He said: “For individuals, the benefit of remote work is that it offers flexibility. Individuals can save on time and live in their preferred location under different remote work models. Remote work also creates a lot of value for companies. As an example, when companies allow workers to work-from-anywhere, talent can be hired globally, even at locations where the company doesn’t have an office.”

Choudhury respectfully disagreed with Soloman’s views on remote working. “Remote work has been around for a long time and organizations such as the US Patent Office and Dell have successfully embraced remote work much before the pandemic,” he said.

He added: “One of the models I really like is the TCS 25-25 hybrid remote work model, which I have studied in detail.”

In this model, all employees spend 25% of their time in the office and the entire team comes in on those “in-office” days. “The other model I like is ‘remote-first’, where employees act as remote workers even on days that they are in the office,” Choudhury said.

According to Krystal, virtual work meetings leave little time for “schmoozing” the informal social interactions that build connection and trust.

The sharp divide between companies’ stances on remote working is clear but only time will tell whether the gulf will widen further.

Other Statistics From The Twitter Hashtag

With daily dose rate of 1.27, UAE leads COVID

The numbers around Twitter hashtags are many. When setting a tweets counter we must know that there are many pieces of information within a tweet that can be analyzed. In this post we specified how to count the number of tweets of a hashtag, however there are many other metrics we can track and that are very important such us:

  • Potential impressions or impacts of the hashtag
  • Potential reach of the hashtag
  • Devices used to tweet with the hashtag
  • Users rankings
  • Gender
  • Etc

You can see how many tweets per day a hashtag got using Tweet Binder, thats easy. However, if you want to deeply analyze a hashtag on Twitter you must know many other metrics because just the number of tweets is not enough. Imagine that we are only counting the number of tweets of the hashtag of a campaign and then we create a brand new Twitter user and send out thousands of tweets, that will make our report look pretty with many tweets, but that wont be correct.

Weekly Amas With Parag

Tom Holland Goes Undercover on Reddit, YouTube and Twitter | GQ

With CEO Parag Agrawal new to the role and still relatively unknown to a lot of Tweeps, Twitter wanted a way for all employees to get to know him. They started that last week with their first companywide Space called #LetsTalkTwitter, a sort of AMA led by Agrawal in which Terrell and others introduced the former CTO-turned-CEO, and during which Agrawal responded to questions from Tweeps, over 600 of whom attended.

“My fave way to use Twitter is tweeting out concepts we are working on. The community is so responsive and gives us amazing feedback. I love co-designing with them. Weve also done a few Spaces regarding how we are trying to make Twitter safer, and those have been a blast as well.” Anita Butler, head of Consumer Design

Employees submitted their questions through DMs to the hosts as well as through the hashtag. Usually, Spaces are all public, but this one was Tweep-only and will continue to happen on a weekly basis going forward. A private Spaces feature may be on the roadmap for non-Tweepers in the future, said Terrell.

Twitter Announces Employees Will Be Allowed To Work From Home Forever

The company said those who want to return to the office wont likely do so until at least September and reopening will be careful

Twitter will allow its employees to work from home forever, chief executive officer Jack Dorsey said in a company-wide email Tuesday.

A spokesperson from Twitter confirmed the decision to the Guardian, saying the company was one of the first companies to go to a work-from-home model due to Covid-19, but does not anticipate being one of the first to return to its offices.

We were uniquely positioned to respond quickly and allow folks to work from home given our emphasis on decentralization and supporting a distributed workforce capable of working from anywhere, the company said in a blogpost.

The past few months have proven we can make that work. So if our employees are in a role and situation that enables them to work from home and they want to continue to do so forever, we will make that happen.

Twitter has strongly encouraged working from home since 2 March and mandated employees to work from home starting 11 March. Employees who prefer to work remotely can now do so indefinitely, Twitter said in its statement. Those who want to return to the office will probably need to wait until at least September.

When we do decide to open offices, it also wont be a snap back to the way it was before, the company said. It will be careful, intentional, office by office and gradual.
