There is, however, Instagrams Layout app which can be used to that effect.

Once the app is installed, with Gallery highlighted at the bottom, tap on the photos that you want to make a collage out of. A maximum of 9 photos can be added to a single layout.
Now, its time to choose the layout. Drag the layout window down to expand it slightly. Then swipe left to see the layouts available to you. When you find the one that you like, tap on it.
This will lead to the Edit screen where youll be able to replace your photos, mirror, flip and give them a border.
Once done, tap on Save at the top right corner. The collage will be saved to your Camera Roll.

Then Feed.

How To Add More Than One Photo To Your Instagram Story Using The Layout Tool
Another way you can add more than one photo to your Instagram story is by using the Layout Tool. The tool essentially splits your story into multiple sections. You can add a picture to each section. Heres how you do it.
- Step 1: Open your Instagram app on your Android or IOS phone and log into your Instagram account.
- Step 2: Swipe right to open the Insta Stories
- Step 3: Click on the Layout button
- Step 4: Select the Layout for your Insta story
- Step 5: Click on the add photos button in the bottom left corner of the screen.
- Step 6: You can accordingly add images to each partition until all partitions are filled.
- Step 7: Once you have added all the images, save the final picture.
- Step 8: Click on the send button to post it as your story.

Adding Several Story Slides At Once:
If you want to use Instagrams own Story slideshow feature, you can also add many photos to your story at once, which viewers can tap through one by one. To do this, tap the Add Story button, choose the photo library option in the lower left-hand corner, and select Select Multiple option in the upper right-hand corner of the photo browser. Just choose up to 10 photos you want to add to your story, in the order you want them to appear, and click Next. This lets you make all the edits you need to each photo, and its much quicker than adding your Story pictures one by one.

So, up until recently, there were a few different ways to add multiple pictures to your Story, but each one was just a tad bit fiddly. For instance, you could use Instagrams proprietary Layout app to create a collage and then upload that to your Story. Now, you can also use Layout within the Instagram app to create a grid collage but maybe you dont want a grid!
You can also use a third-party app like Template or Adobe Spark to create fancy schmancy Stories. Then again, you might not have the time to open separate apps in order to make your post. Luckily for you, Instagram has made it easier than ever to create a multi-pic Story.
All you have to do is open Instagram and swipe over to Story mode. From there, you can either upload a picture , or select Create mode. Add your text , then open the “Stickers” option, either by swiping up from the bottom of your screen or by tapping the sticker icon at the top center of the screen.
Scroll down until you see the photo sticker option it looks like a circle with your most recent photo in it. Tap on it to open your camera roll and select a photo to add to your story. You can repeat this until youve added all of the stickers / photos you want! Easy peasy.
