How To Repost A Video Or Photo Post On Instagram
There’s no built-in way to repost photos or repost videos on Instagram. To get around this restriction, you need to download a third-party app. Fortunately, there are a large number of such apps for both iOS and Android, and most of them are free to download and use.
from Google Play if you have an Android device, or if you have an iOS device. Both apps are free and dont require you to log in with your Instagram or Facebook account information.
The following instructions are for the Regrammer iOS app, but each step is practically identical to how you would use the Repost for Instagram app on Android.
Open the Regrammer app on your iOS device.
A message asks you to give the app permission to access your devices photos. Tap OK.
The app asks you if you want to receive notifications. This is optional. Tap either Dont Allow or Allow.
You’re shown a welcome screen with instructions. Tap Skip.
Open the Instagram app on the same device and find the post you want to repost.
Tap the ellipsis in the top-right corner of the Instagram post.
Tap Copy Link. The link to this post is copied to your devices clipboard.
Open Regrammer. The copied link should automatically appear in the search field within the app. If it doesn’t, tap the field, perform a long press, and tap Paste.
A short video ad may play. Ignore this and wait for your post to load.
When youre ready, tap the blue icon.
Tap Repost on Instagram.
Tap Feed> Next.
How To Reshare An Instagram Post To Your Story
When you see a post that you like in your Instagram feed or on another user’s account, you can repost it on your own Instagram Story. It will be visible to your followers for up to 24 hours.

How Do I Stop Someone From Sharing My Stories

3. Enter the Instagram username and tap the search button.
4. Select the account from the search result.
InstaDP will display the stories shared by the account in the last 24 hours.
5. Tap the button to save the Story you want to repost.
6. Launch Instagram and tap the camera icon at the top-left corner of the app to go to the Story section.
7. Tap the square card at the bottom-left corner and select the downloaded Story from your gallery.
8. Pinch-in the corners or sides of the Story to resize it to your preference. Tap and move the Story to adjust it to your preferred position. You could also repost the Story in its original size its totally up to you.
Although this isnt compulsory, we strongly recommend that you tag the original poster of the content. Tap the text tool at the top-right corner and type the Instagram username of the original poster.

To repost an Instagram Story, the person who is sharing the story must have tagged you. Unless the owner of the story tagged you, the option add this to your story will not appear on your account.
