How To View Memories On Instagram And Share Them To Your Story
Sharing Instagram posts to your Story is undoubtedly one of the best ways to keep your followers engaged. Thanks to this guide, nothing will stop you from going ahead and sharing a post right away.
What Is An Instagram Story
Instagram Stories is a visual feature that is separate from the regular news feed. Stories have a viewable shelf life of only 24 hoursversus an Instagram Post which stays live on your profile until you decide to delete it. They can be either videos, images, or plain text. You can upload multiple slides at one time, and incorporate emojis or GIFs, tag your location, and use hashtags.
Open Up The Instagram App And Tap Your Profile Picture Near The Upper Left
To start posting a Story, open up the Instagram app and click on your profile image in the top left corner. You can also swipe right or click the plus sign near the top right.
If you click the plus sign, you’ll automatically be prompted to create a post instead of a Story. To get to the Story creator, choose Story at the bottom right.

Let’s go over how you can view Instagram Stories.

Consistent visuals help nurture your relationship with your audience: they should recognize your style without having to check your username.
Using consistent colors, fonts, gifs, and is a great start. A style guide is a good place to track all your design decisions so you can keep your brands tone unified and your team on the same page.
If you dont have a design team and you feel a little unsure of where to start, there are plenty of Stories-focused design apps to help you get this right.

What Is The Instagram Link Sticker

Furthermore, Instagram Stories is also one of the only places on the app to add a link. For example, in a regular Instagram post, theres no option to share links.
Now, on the good side of things, Instagram allowed for an exciting substitute, link stickers.
Instagram developers have tested out the functionality of the upcoming feature since June 2021. Two months later, on the 30th of August, the world got its hands on the link stickers. Well, at least a portion of it. But more on the availability of the feature later.
The new link stickers offer the same functionality as the old swipe-up version. As a user, you can once again add an external link to your Instagram stories. Only this time, it comes with more key advantages.

Tagging Somebody In An Instagram Story
If you want your friends to be able to share your stories in their own stories, you’ll need to tag them first. Likewise, if you want to share their stories in your personal stories, they’ll need to tag you. Up to ten different friends can be mentioned in each story.
- Don’t Miss:
To tag someone in a story, take a picture or video as you usually would in the Stories camera, tap on the screen, then @mention them by typing @ followed by the username. Instead of tapping on the screen anywhere, you can also tap the “Aa” icon to open the text editor. Aside from using the text tool, you can tap on the sticker icon and choose the “@MENTION” sticker to make the tag more stylish.
The text tool and sticker methods have the same outcome, only with aesthetic differences. A simple @mention with text allows you to choose a font, resize it, add a background , justify the text , and adjust the font color including rainbow text for those in the know. Using the @mention sticker offers three different visual styles to choose from only. Both methods, however, let you shrink/enlarge, rotate, and move the tags anywhere on the screen.
With both options, Instagram will present relevant friend accounts along the bottom of the screen as you type your username. You can tap an account here to quickly autofill the tag.
