Are There Any Third
When your favorite apps don’t have the function you wish they had built-in, what do you do? Some folks might go on a quick search for an alternative in the form of third-party apps. Don’t be fooled by any applications that make this claim.
In an article on Reader’s Digest, Alex Heid of SecurityScorecard said, anything advertising a feature that shows who viewed your profile would not be a legitimate service and should be avoided as it is likely just an app that is there to collect data for those who use it.
Instagram was acquired by Facebook in 2016, so it makes sense that there is some overlap between them. They have similar privacy settings, and you can’t see who has viewed your Facebook profile, either.
See Who Views Your Instagram Story
Unlike posts, you can always see exactly who has viewed your Instagram. Theres no hiding here!
Every time someone watches an Instagram story, the poster can see who has viewed it.
Certainly, you cant be sly and stalk your exs Instagram story without them realizing!
While Instagram does a good job of keeping some things private, you can see who views your Instagram story any time.
In some cases, this is good. For example, influencers or businesses can use this tool to see who their target audience and how best to cater to them. Also, you can see if your friends are really checking out your Instagram story!

Is There A Third
Facebook acquired Instagram in 2012, so theres some overlap in privacy settings. So, like Facebook, no third-party apps will tell you who looks at your Instagram profile. Anything advertising a feature that shows who viewed your profile would not be a legitimate service and should be avoided as it is likely just an app that is there to collect data for those who use it, Heid says. Theres no indication that Instagram will ever decide to allow users to see who views their profile. Next, learn .
Unfollow Only Specific Boards
Say youre following a blogger or brand who typically pins images that youre interested in, but also pins about a subject that you arent interested in. You can still follow that blogger or brand, but simply Unfollow any of their boards that you dont care about.

To unfollow the boards that you dont want to see pins from, do a search for the name of the person, brand or blog to get to their profile page . Click to Unfollow any boards that you arent interested in.

Pin Good Quality Images Only
In 2013, Philadelphia-based startup Curalate, which calls itself the worlds leading marketing and analytics suite for the visual web did some intense number-crunching on a database of 500,000 images to try and figure out which images did well on Pinterest and why. On the request of Wired.com, they then undertook the massive task of that encompassed all the elements of a popular Pinterest image.
This image from cooking show host Paula Deen won out:
The image, called Aunt Peggys Cucumber, Tomato, and Onion Salad has been repinned 307,000 times, liked 8,000 times, and commented upon 300 times.
- No human faces
- Moderate light and color
- Portrait style
Youre not always going to be able to create the perfect Pinterest image. But incorporate enough of these characteristics and youll frequently be able to create a viral one.

How To See Who Viewed Your Instagram Profile
Instagram is the perfect platform for those who are interested in displaying the photos and images they create. Instagram can be used as a daily record of events and sights, or as a carefully curated collection of images that are meaningful to you.
People enjoy sharing information about their talents, lives, and interests with others, but sometimes, privacy becomes a concern. It is possible to lock down your Instagram account so that people have to request to see the beauty it beholds, but can you tell who viewed your Instagram profile? If someone looks but doesnt tell or comment, can you see who or how many ?
Not everyone wants to leave a trail wherever they go online, and not everyone feels the need to say something every time they look at a profile or Story. Some people just like to metaphorically window shop without buying or even trying anything on, and thats one of the benefits of the vague sense of anonymity that social networks allow us.
You see a picture you like, click on it to learn more, and find out the user has nothing else like that photo. No harm, no foul, no Follow. At the same time, Social Media Influencers and others who have a firm grip on their own privacy might be interested in learning how many people visit their Instagram profile without a single peep. After 24 hours, the list disappears, but if you save your stories, you can still see the number of people who saw them . You must be logged in to see this information. By the way, heres .
High Quality Content Regularly Shared To Your Boards
You dont just create boards with beautiful covers to sit there empty! Youve gotta fill those boards up with beautiful, high quality content that is relevant to your sites niche.
Because the Pinterest algorithm is analyzing your every move! Oooh, creepy. Not really. But they are analyzing the pins on your board and doing things like averaging your re-pins to judge whether your board is good enough to recommend to other Pinterest users.
So every so often and particularly if youve never done it before you should go through and DELETE all of the non-performing pins in your account. Judge it with a very critical like, ruthless eye.
- Use the Organize button to prune your boards. You can move, delete, or copy 50 pins at a time!
Here are the pins you should be pruning:
- Remove horizontal pins.
Vertical pins are king on Pinterest, and horizontal pins dont generally get much traction. Remove horizontal pins from your boards.
Speaking of which: I shared a tip for making vertical pins from horizontal images in this post!
- Remove ugly pins.
You know what I mean. Ugly is subjective, but Im referring to Pins that arent visually appealing or just dont fit in with the best pins in your account.
Judge your account from an outsiders perspective with a critical eye and remove the ones that arent up to snuff.
How many pins should a board have before you make it public?
Instead, youll want it to be secret first, while you add content to fill it up.

Attractive Matching Cover Photos
Each of your boards should have a cover photo. They should be gorgeous, fit your blog, go well together, and clearly convey the subject of your board.
Avoid making them all look exactly the same variety is far more visually enticing! Instead, use a variety of photos in different colors to add visual interest, plus some text on top with your boards name in big, clear, easy to read letters. Doesnt have to be complicated: youre aiming for pretty, visually enticing, and clear.
A good cover photo is:
- Super easy to read.
Avoid small letters. Avoid anything other than just the title of the board in clear, large letters.
- Pretty & eye catching.
Get The Perfect Pin Dimensions
First, you want to make sure your image fits the 2:3 ratio or 600×900 pixels. This is the sweet spot!
Its important to note that super-long, vertical images no longer perform well on Pinterest, as the social platform may display these lower in your feed.
Away luggage uses the 2:3 ratio with most of their Pins:

You can use the Tailwind Chrome extension and Tribes to schedule pins when Pinterest is glitchy. Its so helpful!
Problem #3 Stolen Pins
Bonus tip: If you happen to come across one of your pins that was stolen, you can go through the process to report the pin to Pinterest. They will remove it. As you are completing the form to report it, choose copyright infringement and make sure to choose Strike for what you want to be done with the pin. If you choose the Remove All option, it will take down all of the pins with that image, including your own and any repins. You definitely dont want that.
Bonus Tip #2: When you are repinning on Pinterest, its a good idea to check that the pin directs to where its supposed to go. It only takes a second or two to click on the pin and head to the website. Youll learn quickly how to spot stolen pins and avoid repinning them.

What Does Twitter Analytics Accomplish

Is There a Way to See Who Viewed Your Images and Videos?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to tell who viewed your images and videos on your Twitter profile. Yet, you can indeed see who viewed your Twitter stories. In fact, Twitter will notify you. Apart from this, the people who view your images/videos will go unnotified. However, as mentioned before, you can utilize the analytics tool to get an idea.
Which Boards Should You Pin To
When you have your title, description, and Pins ready, theres one last thing to think about.
What board to Save it to!
currently recommend Saving to the most relevant, keyworded board first. This sends the algorithm helpful signals so your Pin will be shown to the most interested audience.
Go with either the most relevant board, or a top performer if you like. You can experiment with trying both of these to see which gets the best results.
You can also Save your Pin to more than one board. Tailwinds Smart Guide recommends no more than 10 boards, but this isnt a rule, just guidance.
Space out the Pins going to different boards, so your feed isnt full of the same Pin repeatedly. Tailwind interval pinning helps you do this quickly and easily.
When Pinning to the first board, consider Pinning related content around the same time. This is called board co-occurrence.

Group Boards Will Be Losing Distribution Power
Now, 1000-4000 contributors and no pinning limits cant end up in a good way. Spam eventually takes over these boards and the board is losing the focus on one topic.
As a consequence, even legit pinners on those boards get low engagement scores for their pins and a confusing keyword context based on all the spam saved to the board previously.
What should you do now?
See Who Views Your Instagram With Third Party Apps
Before we discuss this, please do research about third-party apps. While these two have great reviews, they are not affiliated with Instagram, meaning you are entrusting your data with a separate company!
Anyway, these two apps seem secure, have lots of good reviews and will help you discover more about who views your Instagram account.
Pin Consistently And Frequently
As with most other social networks, consistent and frequent sharing can often be the key to building an audience and keeping them engaged with your content.
Timing can be important, too, though with global audiences, its often better to spread your content out over a span of the whole 24 hours so youre leaving out people in other time zones. This exposes you to more of your audience more frequently and often leads to more pins, shares, and comments as a result.
P.S. You can easily do all this and more with Buffer.
With frequency, more is often better, we find, with 5x a day being optimal. Some experts recommend as much as 15-20x times a day, but if youre a small company or brand, its better to pick a lower number and stay consistent than to do higher numbers intermittently.
Heres an infographic we created that tells you, in a glance, what kind of frequency and topics youd do well aiming for:
